| Retail Therapy |
The City of Dublin is a must for “serious” shoppers. The main area being Grafton Street, with the little lanes off it revealing many other interesting boutiques. There are some highly individual designer shops for the more discerning lady and the very stylish "Brown Thomas" department store is the Irish equivalent of " Harvey Nicks" and should not be missed ! Looking for gifts for the home and items of a "deli" nature then try "Avoca", a fascinating store just around the corner in Suffolk Street. |
| Don't Miss |
There is so much to do and see in this bustling city. An open top bus tour will allow you to get you your bearings and take you past much of the elegant Georgian architecture and along the banks of the River Liffey, pinpointing the atmospheric Temple Bar area. It will also stop at the Guinness factory where certain souvenirs can be purchased to reward the man at home (if there is one !). |

| Wine and Dine |
There is such a diverse selection of places to eat in Dublin that it is difficult to know where to start. If it is a traditional Irish pub you want to experience with the chirpy tones of an Irish jig, playing in the background, then head for "Fitzsimons" or "Oliver St. John Gogarty's". But if you prefer a more continental treat then head for "Salamanca" an authentic Tapas Bar. For a more sophisticated and European choice of menu you'll find it hard to beat "Fitzers" on Dawson Street or it's sister restaurant at 40 Temple Bar Square. |
| Days Out |
